We are thrilled to share the news about the latest youth rodeo association - the South Florida Little Britches Rodeo Association Qualifier Series (SFLBRA)! This is a sanctioned chapter of the National Little Britches Rodeo Association (NLBRA). The series is open to ALL national members, with no local memberships required. Our goal is to help every national member acquire their 6 qualifications to compete in the NLBRA National Rodeo held in Guthrie, Oklahoma each summer. ABOUT US
At South Florida Little Britches Rodeo Association, we are dedicated to promoting the sport of youth rodeo in the southern region. Our mission is to provide a platform for young rodeo enthusiasts to showcase their talent and compete at a national level. We believe in fostering sportsmanship, leadership, and character development through the sport of rodeo.
There are five divisions for Contestant's ages 5 - 18
(age is based on the contestant's age as of July 4, 2026)
*Little Wranglers (boys and girls) - ages 5 - 8 years old: Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Goat Untying, Flag Race
**ADDING Little Wrangler Breakaway (a non-sanctioned NLBRA event-with same payout as the other NLBRA events and a buckle to year end winner)
*Junior Girls - ages 9 - 13 years old: Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Goat Tying, Breakaway, Trail Course, Team Roping, & Dally Ribbon Roping
*Junior Boys - ages 9 - 13 years old: Breakaway, Goat Tying, Flag Race, Team Roping, Dally Ribbon Roping, Bareback Steer Riding, Saddle Steer Riding, Bull Riding)
**ADDING JR. Boy Tie Down (a non-sanctioned NLBRA event-with same payout as the other NLBRA events and a buckle to year end winner)
*Senior Girls - ages 14 - 18 years old: Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Goat Tying, Breakaway, Trail Course, Team Roping, & Dally Ribbon Roping
*Senior Boys - ages 14 - 18 years old: Calf Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Dally Ribbon Roping, Bareback Bronc Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bull Riding
